This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is an easy-to-make dessert that combines the flavors of creamy cheesecake, sweet strawberries, and a golden buttery cake topping. With just a few ingredients and no complicated steps, this dessert is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Optional Add-Ins:

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for a warm touch)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (for crunch)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced (for extra fruitiness)
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips (for sweetness)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

2️⃣ Prepare the cheesecake layer: In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.

3️⃣ Layer the strawberry filling: Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the baking dish. If using fresh strawberries, scatter them over the pie filling.

4️⃣ Add the cheesecake mixture: Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries and gently spread it.

5️⃣ Top with dry cake mix: Evenly sprinkle the cake mix over the cheesecake layer. Do not stir.

6️⃣ Drizzle melted butter: Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.

7️⃣ Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling around the edges.

8️⃣ Cool & Serve: Let the cake cool for at least 15-20 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled with whipped cream or ice cream!

Notes

  • For extra crunch, sprinkle chopped nuts over the top before baking.
  • For a less sweet version, use unsweetened strawberries and a sugar-free cake mix.
  • Make it ahead: This cake can be assembled a day in advance and baked fresh when needed.
  • Serving suggestions: Pair with vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle, or fresh berries.
