- 2 large eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch casserole dish with non-stick spray.
- Cube the cornbread and Italian bread; dry them out on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes in the oven.
- In a sauté pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the onion and celery, cooking until softened. Stir in garlic for an additional minute.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried bread cubes with sautéed vegetables, chicken stock (start with 2 cups), parsley, spices, and beaten eggs. Mix well.
- Transfer to the casserole dish and cover with aluminum foil; bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown.
