Instructions

- In a large bowl, whisk together milk, vanilla extract, and sugar until combined. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon; mix gently until just blended.
- Spoon the batter over the melted butter without stirring. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly on top and carefully pour hot water over the mixture—do not stir.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and mostly set.
- As soon as it comes out of the oven, mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle over the cobbler.
