- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, roasted and mashed
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter sauce)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Make the Sauce: In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the mashed roasted garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper.
