Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, roasted and mashed
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter sauce)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Make the Sauce: In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the mashed roasted garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Assemble the Pizza: Spread the garlic white sauce evenly over the pizza dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, followed by the shredded chicken. Top with fresh herbs (oregano and basil) and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Bake: Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired, and slice. Enjoy your Roasted Garlic, Chicken & Herb White Pizza!

Notes

  • Feel free to add extra toppings like mushrooms or spinach.
  • Use a pizza stone for an extra-crispy crust.
  • You can prepare the sauce ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days.
