Scale

For the Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or 1 lb homemade pizza dough)

For the Filling:

  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1520 slices pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

For the Butter Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare Dough

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Separate biscuit dough or roll out homemade dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut into 12-15 equal portions and roll into small circles (about 3-4 inches wide).

Step 2: Add the Filling

  1. Spoon ½ teaspoon pizza sauce onto the center of each dough circle.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and place one slice of pepperoni on top.
  3. Season with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Step 3: Seal & Shape the Bombs

  1. Carefully fold the edges of the dough over the filling.
  2. Pinch the seams tightly and roll into a smooth ball.

Step 4: Bake or Air Fry

Oven Method:
9. Place pizza bombs seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Air Fryer Method:
9. Arrange pizza bombs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
10. Air fry at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through.

Step 5: Add the Butter Topping & Serve

  1. Mix melted butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, and parsley in a bowl.
  2. Brush warm pizza bombs with the butter mixture for extra flavor.
  3. Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, bake pizza bombs on a preheated baking sheet.
  • Don’t overfill to prevent cheese from leaking out.
  • Make it spicy by adding red pepper flakes inside the filling.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
