  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 small sweet onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced

  • 1 small head cabbage (about 8 cups shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and cook ground turkey until nearly done.
  2. Push turkey aside; add remaining oil and onion. Sauté until softened.
  3. Mix in carrots, garlic, and ginger; cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
  5. Stir in cabbage, soy sauce, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender.
  6. Finish with sesame oil and serve over rice or as desired.
