Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients: coconut aminos, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add avocado oil.
  3. Sauté chopped onion for about 5 minutes until translucent; add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet and break it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
  5. Stir in shredded cabbage and carrots along with the prepared sauce; cook until cabbage wilts (approximately 5 minutes).
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as desired. Serve warm garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
