Description

These cranberry and feta pinwheels are a sweet, tangy, and savory appetizer perfect for holidays, parties, or quick snacks. Made with soft flour tortillas, creamy cheese, dried cranberries, and tangy feta, they’re easy to prepare and guaranteed to impress!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Soften the Cream Cheese: Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes, or microwave it for 10 seconds to soften.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped dried cranberries, crumbled feta, and green onions. Mix until evenly combined. Add chopped nuts if desired.
  3. Spread the Filling: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture across the entire tortilla, all the way to the edges.
  4. Roll the Tortilla: Starting at one end, roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
  5. Wrap and Chill: Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Slice and Serve: Unwrap the chilled rolls and slice them into 1-inch pinwheels using a serrated knife. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: These pinwheels can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance. Store them wrapped in plastic wrap in the refrigerator and slice just before serving.
  • Ingredient Variations: Substitute goat cheese for feta or try adding fresh herbs like parsley or dill for extra flavor.
  • Custom Flavors: Add a drizzle of honey for sweetness or a pinch of chili flakes for heat.
