  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 sandwich buns, buttered and grilled
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup homemade guacamole

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, Panko bread crumbs, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, cumin, and chili powder. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into four patties slightly larger than the buns. Make an indentation in the center of each patty.
  3. Cook patties on a preheated grill or skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Top with cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  4. In another skillet, sauté sliced bell peppers and onions with butter and seasonings until tender-crisp.
  5. Assemble burgers by spreading guacamole on toasted buns and adding cooked patties topped with sautéed veggies.
