Ingredients

  • Chicken Breasts: 2 medium, diced
  • Broccoli: 2 cups, florets
  • Pasta: 300g penne or fusilli
  • Olive Oil or Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Chicken Stock: 1 cup (optional)
  • Heavy Cream: 1 cup
  • Parmesan Cheese: ½ cup, grated
  • Salt and Pepper: To taste
  • Italian Seasoning: 1 teaspoon
  • Red Pepper Flakes: Optional

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • Blanch the Broccoli: Boil broccoli for 1-2 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken stock, heavy cream, and Parmesan. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  • Combine Everything: Add chicken, broccoli, and pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve: Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and enjoy immediately.
