Description

  • 1 lb bacon (cut into thirds)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Wrap each Little Smokie in a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  • Roll in brown sugar and place on a wire rack over a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispness.
