Description

A quick and easy bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers recipe that delivers crispy, cheesy, and spicy perfection. Great for parties, BBQs, or a keto-friendly snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 large jalapeños, halved and deseeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 10 slices bacon, cut in half
  • Toothpicks (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • Prepare jalapeños by cutting them in half lengthwise and removing seeds and membranes.
  • Make filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir until smooth.
  • Stuff the jalapeños with the cheese mixture, filling just to the top.
  • Wrap each jalapeño half with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
  • Cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispy bacon, pre-cook it slightly before wrapping.
  • To reduce spice, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños.
  • Try air frying at 375°F for 12-15 minutes for a quicker method.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
