- 10 large jalapeños, halved and deseeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 10 slices bacon, cut in half
- Toothpicks (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Prepare jalapeños by cutting them in half lengthwise and removing seeds and membranes.
- Make filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir until smooth.
- Stuff the jalapeños with the cheese mixture, filling just to the top.
- Wrap each jalapeño half with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

- For extra crispy bacon, pre-cook it slightly before wrapping.
- To reduce spice, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños.
