  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (350°F).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, sesame oil, ground ginger, soy sauce, garlic powder, rice vinegar, and half of the sesame seeds.
  3. Pour half of the marinade over the tuna steaks and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Coat each steak with remaining sesame seeds before grilling.
  5. Grill tuna for 2-3 minutes per side until it reaches an internal temperature of 135°F for medium-rare.
  6. Remove from grill and top with leftover marinade and garnish before serving.
