Instructions

- Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk applesauce, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine wet & dry: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet, stirring gently. Fold in optional add-ins.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Let the cake rest in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
